Sitting on the Edge of Hope

Have you ever been on the edge of Hope?  It is a slippery slope and a dangerous precipice combined.  When feeling at wit's end with no path forward, all that often remains is Hope in a better outcome.  Hope is faith actualized in positive emotion.  The "fake it until you make it" religious fantasy that can and does turn to reality.  Fear is the opposite of Faith, and Hope brings Faith to the front door and keeps it knocking.

Emily Dickinson's most quoted verse is "Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul/and sings the tune without words and never stops at all."  When we hope for a brighter tomorrow, we develop Faith in the fact that it will happen.  Birds symbolize Faith and Hope because they soar upwards and draw our attention to the Heavens.  We can all learn by watching birds be carefree and relying on their Creator, but working and gathering as well.  The more we have Hope the more Faith will abound.  I have faith in a better tomorrow.  Do you?

be Your Very Best Always,
